Dear Reader

This is the first season and 1st episode of my lifestyle blog, I will share all of my wisdom, according to me, with my readers. Pleased review at you own discretion and decide what is appropriate for your lifestyle and goals. The Intent is to entertain and inform. So lets get started with the first episode, Greymosphere.

We are half way through October with a fast track to December holidays and the New Year! The Holiday Season is a distraction to the impending cold weather. You start the party with cider mill cinnamon-sugar doughnuts. The mini chocolate bars and candy packs start showing up everywhere, from the Breast Cancer walk to Halloween night. Football is on 5 days a week, including Highschool. Slowly but surely the November/December holiday stress starts to fill the air. All while, the lows and the highs get lower and the Greymosphere clouds, freezing rain and snow starts to settle in.

While there are those who embrace this time of year, there are those of use who go into Fall kicking and screaming.

If you are have a hard time with the fall to winters transition, or as I call it Greymosphere. How do you maintain your peace and take care of yourself waking up in the dark while the days get shorter?

Below are my suggestions to overcome the down feeling that comes with the Greymosphere.

1) Start a routine that takes time for yourself. This may include walking for 15 minutes, talking a class on something you are interested in. Work out or change to a healthier diet. Write in your journal. Be consistent with something that benefits your soul.

2) Read great book. There is nothing better than getting lost in a great fiction or non fiction book. I have a fantastic book list coming in the next episode. I would love to hear great reads others have come across.

3) Watch a fantastic TV series! There are so many options to choose from. I cant wait to talk about great shows with my readers.

4) Do something outside of your comfort zone! I saw a post on Instagram that said " the magic you are looking for is in the work you don't want to do". That is CRAZY!

5) Learn how to become a Maxxinista. I will share my techniques on fun and effective shopping at the Marshalls/TJMaxx style stores. Even if you don't buy anything, is so nice to see what they have. You can always use a candle to put in your bathroom or kitchen.

6) Do something to enhance humanity and the earth. Volunteers are always needed this time of the year and the feeling of working toward the greater good is the best feeling.

Thank you for reading. I hope this blog brings you joy!
